Founded in 1998 by Lorraine Bouyie, Sister to Sister was the first sorority organization on Boyd Andersons campus. These Jazzy, Sassy, but always Classy young participate in school events such as Culture Shock, Black History Month, as well as Sisterhood month where they recruit new members. Brother to Brother is an all male organization, the male equivalent of Sister to Sister in fact. Their mission involves being young men of vision with integrity, respect, and all characteristics that distinguish them as leaders of their community . The Brothers are not only performers though, as they host a slew of community service projects such as a Stuffed Animal Drive for children at Joe Di Magio's Hospital and a informing their fellow peers of black history facts in February. They thrive to follow in the footsteps of other gentlemen such as Martin L. King, Barack Obama, and their advisor Mr. Farrington.

We are a part of the Broward County chapter of FEA and also paricipate in the Winter Rally, Fall Rally, Spring Rally, and County Conventions. As a part this orginization members are able to collect items for the seasonal drives, create arts and crafts projects, compete with other high schools, engage with teachers, and create projects to appreciate teachers. Despite their short time on campus, they have featured in many different performances such as Mr. Boyd Anderson 2012-2013, Ms. Boyd Anderson 2013-2014, and the Black History Show. The goal of First Priority is connecting the church to reach the campus for Christ! Student led clubs meet every week on public middle and high school campuses and the Gospel is shared each month. MTL is a dropout prevention, educational re-engagement, and student leadership program that operates according to five pillars to increase the graduation rate at Boyd H. Anderson High and Plantation High Schools, as well as among students who dropped out of high school.

Throughout the course of the year, Mrs. Wetzel collects everything and submits it into a book titled BA Writes! Student Anthology The members of the club can use this time to express their creative thoughts, their feelings, and their dreams that they may not able to say vocally. Every school year a Science Olympiad is held in which members can race a car built from a mouse trap, build an electrical generator, design and launch a water rocket, build then weigh down a bridge until it is crushed, and build a bionic hand.
